Objective

Devise a more accurate and user-friendly method for auditing and evaluating the accuracy of data captured by DATAMARK. Create an interactive system whereby the audit will not affect the processing of information, but provides a forum for DATAMARK and the client to together learn from the results and continuously identify possible areas for improvement of the business process.

Solution

DATAMARK developed a customizable web environment for auditing the data captured off of client documents. The system interfaces with data after it has completed the business process cycle, so that turn-around-time of documents processed is not affected. Captured data and the corresponding document images are made available for review in a secure on-line environment. Each piece of data can be individually assessed and consequently assigned an error status if necessary. Several interactive steps of the process allow DATAMARK and client auditors to review and rebut the assigned errors over the web, together identifying root causes and possible system changes to improve the process as a whole. All logged information is then retained and available through reports and graphs for historical trending.
