Community Involvement

DATAMARK is very serious about giving back to the community.  A committee meets annually to determine the giving needs for the coming year.  Many requests are received and each is carefully reviewed to determine its’ benefit to the community. 

Forefront organizations and causes supported by DATAMARK:

Local agencies:

• El Paso Science Museum – focuses on science education for area schools and the general public
• Casa de Restauracion – Feeds the hungry in our El Paso community
• Esperanza De Vida – Homeless shelter for teens and young adults.  Provides GED classes for those who are trying to improve their situation, and provides job assistance for those wishing to get back on their feet.
• Operation Noel – local agency providing winter coats for local children who would otherwise not have a coat this winter.
• Fellowship of Christian Athletes – promoting athletics with a focus on Christian values.

Nationally:

• Ronald McDonald House – A home for children with cancer and their families during treatment
• Make-A-Wish Foundation  – "We grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy."
• Susan G. Kohmen – Breast Cancer awareness
• American Heart Association –Walk-a-thons for research funding.
• KLOVE radio – Christian radio with involvement in our communities on a national level

Internationally:

• Operation Blessing – Help for Tsunami victims
• Samaritan’s Purse – Help for hurricane Katrina victims
