Bill Randag-President

In 1988, Bill was commissioned in the United States Air Force. He attended Pilot Training School in Lubbock, Texas at Reese Air Force Base, where he graduated in the top 5% of his class and was recognized as the “Academic Ace”. After graduation, Bill was hand-picked to remain at Reese as an Instructor Pilot and instruct the new students.

In 1989, he attended Pilot Instructor Training School and was named Top Graduate by his Instructor Pilot training class. Bill then returned as an Instructor Pilot. Among his many duties he was the Lead Scheduler, responsible for scheduling 100 flights a day for 20 students. Additional responsibilities included the management of 45 students per year in various areas, including, direction of their training, academics, emergency procedures, simulators, flights, etc.

In 1991, Bill ended his active duty enlistment and joined the Reserves. Bill was assigned to two C-130 units; the 53rd Weather Reconnaissance Hurricane Hunters, and then the 815th Tactical Airlift Squadron. Bill flew missions into several hurricanes as well as several missions into South America, North America, the Caribbean, and Europe - to include Sarajevo during the Bosnia crisis.

Bill joined the staff of DATAMARK in 1993 as the Marketing Executive. Bill was responsible for the Sales and Marketing of DATAMARK’s data entry services. When Bill started, DATAMARK had approximately 200 employees. His expertise in the sales and marketing areas quickly necessitated the expansion of DATAMARK’s staff to an additional 1000 employees. In 1995, DATAMARK expanded operations and became a Maquila (twin plant). Bill identified a suitable company for acquisition to enter this space, and then directed the acquisition to a successful completion. Bill’s responsibilities were shifted from Sales and Marketing to Director of Mexico Operations. After successfully expanding the operations of DATAMARK de Mexico to over 500 employees, Bill returned to DATAMARK El Paso and was promoted to Vice President.

In 1998, Bill was again promoted, to the position of Senior Vice President with responsibility over the Programming Department, Technical Department, Production Departments, Sales and Marketing Department and DATAMARK de Mexico (production, accounting, personnel, and technical).

In 2001, Bill was promoted to President of DATAMARK. He now is responsible for the overall profitability of the company. He currently oversees 8 direct employees and over 2000 more across the six sites. His vision for DATAMARK begins with long term strategic growth and acquisitions and expands to include Joint Ventures in India.
