A manifest is a transportation document required by customs authorities that serves as a detailed summary of all cargo within a vehicle or vessel. The manifest can be generated from information provided in a bill of lading or waybill. Typically, the following fields are captured from manifest documents: consignor, consignee, number, origin, destination, value as well as other custom fields.
