As Vice President of Technology and Security at DATAMARK, Sanjay Thakur is the company’s senior-most technology leader owning enterprise strategy across engineering, infrastructure, networking, security, and AI. His charter is to position the company as a premier technology partner through a period of rapid growth, establishing strong security and operational resilience, and building the global technology organization across the US, Mexico, and India. Previously at Unum, Sanjay built the engineering organization behind a company-wide digital transformation, established the infrastructure that made enterprise AI possible, and drove adoption through to measurable value.
For more than two decades, Sanjay has led technology organizations through moments when complexity, scale, and urgency collide. His work centers on reengineering core business processes, building robust platforms & services, and modernizing enterprise architecture so organizations can move faster without losing control. He advices board and executive leadership on strategy, investment, and risk, and is equally effective with frontline teams. He translates business and financial objectives into practical technology roadmaps, develops leaders who can operate at scale, and build partnership that create real value.
